the Y @ Work: WorkIt! Challenge
Healthy employees are critical to an employer’s bottom line. Better health improves the quality of life for an employee and cuts down on injury, illness and absenteeism. Through the Y@Work program, we partner with employers to customize a wellness plan that enables employees to become more healthy and connected to a community that will help them learn, grow and thrive. Companies realize savings through increased productivity and reduced health care claims.
How It Works
Companies who are a part of the Quad Cities' exclusive the Y @ Work program can pay a small, annual fee to participate in the WorkIt! Challenge. Each company identifies an internal Coach for their team. Points are earned through individual and team efforts. The points then roll up to the company level. Individual participants earn incentives and awards as teams strive to be the WorkIt! Challenge champs in their division. Companies will be awarded trophies based on points accumulated through December 2012.
